You'll visit our farm Iris Lodge which is a working grazing property on the Central Coast NSW where you'll meet our alpacas, wiltipoll sheep, horses and cows and our maremma Lola. Iris Lodge is a working farm on the Central Coast. We have a herd of alpacas, a flock of sheep, a herd of cattle and Horses. The accommodation is a tiny home with its own en-suite double bed and kitchenette with no cooking facilities. We are close to Watagan Forest and 7 minutes to Westfield. The farm has a lane way system that our guests can enjoy wandering around visiting the alpacas, sheep, cows and horses that leads you to a deck with chairs and table over looking dams with views up through the valley. On weekends you can join a breakfast with alpacas experience for an additional $50 per person. The breakfast with alpacas involves meeting Billy our very special guard alpaca who will want to fed a banana before he will let you on the farm. Next you'll meet Ellie a wiltipoll sheep who is Billy's best friend. Take time to meet Billy and Ellie and get some photos. Ellie enjoys a good deep tissue message. Next its time to meet and feed Coby and Andy our horses who enjoy apples and carrots. We then meet our collection of baby lambs who we will feed later Walking up past the horses we meet Benny and gang our flock of wiltipoll sheep. They are keen for their grain and carrots. Here you'll have the chance to hand feed the sheep and learn about what makes wiltipolls different to other sheep. You'll also meet Lola our maremma who guards the sheep From here its off to the alpacas where you will the opportunity to hand feed them their alpaca mix and carrots. We spend time meeting the alpacas, interacting with them and learning their personalities. When the alpacas are full its time to round them up and bring them to where we have breakfast Before we have breakfast the lambs will want to have their bottles. We spend time feeding the lambs. Billy will be waiting nearby to have any left over milk. Its' now time for our breakfast watching the alpacas.
