Magnetic Cottage is a beautiful quaint stone cottage situated right in the heart of Port Fairy. It is located in a prime position being 200m to all the restaurants, cafes and boutique shopping and only a short 7-minute stroll to the fabulous East Beach; just park up and leave the car. This historic cottage was built circa 1850s and has been renovated to a very high standard and offers all creature comforts for an enjoyable holiday. As you would expect for a newly renovated cottage all appliances and furnishings are new.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms with the master bedroom featuring a double showered ensuite. The second bedroom has a tri-bunk. For the teenager in you there is a cozy bungalow with a set of bunks. The main living and kitchen area feature rustic wooden flooring with an open plan living feel & cosy fireplace to enjoy. For those who like to cook the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate sitting room for those wishing to relax and read a good book.
Outside you'll find garden setting area for your family to enjoy a relaxing afternoon BBQ lunch while the children play on the large lawn area. And after getting back from the beach wash the sea salt off under the outdoor hot & cold shower!
Please note: You will need to supply your own firewood. This fireplace is a small unit & therefore requires small pieces only. Wood can be purchased from our local Road House.
