Tucked away in the foothills of Alford Forest, you will find a rare hidden gem. This four bed, three bath log home was meticulously constructed in 2019 from Douglas Fir trees grown and processed in Geraldine for NZ Natural Log Homes.
Inside is a large open plan kitchen and living area complimented by expansive, vaulted ceilings, with exposed logs throughout providing a true alpine feel. The living area wraps around a built in Metro fire offering warmth and cosiness after a long winters day on the slopes at the nearby Mt Hutt.
Four large double bedrooms each equipped with super king beds provide plenty of space to house family and friends. The master is complete with ensuite, walk in wardrobe and small log burner to provide ambience throughout the night.
The two bedrooms upstairs are complimented by their own large bathroom and landing area, while the fourth bedroom has access to a bathroom via the laundry.
The home is positioned on 8 hectares and really is your own private oasis for a weekend or week away with friends.
With the Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa, Staveley Ice Skating Rink, Rakaia Gorge Jet Boating, Mt Hutt Mountain Bike Park and the award-winning Mt Hutt Skifield, all within a 20 minute drive, you will find yourself in the heart of adventure country. Not to mention the Methven township approximately 15 minutes drive away, offering bars, restaurants and cafes as well as supermarkets and numerous other amenities.
