Auburn Hideaway is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage with space and comfort for 2 couples. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. Separate Toilet, A/C and wood fire. Enjoy walking or cycling the famous Riesling trail from Auburn to Clare, or Rattler trail from Auburn to Riverton. Close to Mawson Trail.
The Space:
The property is in a quiet street away from the main road and close enough to walk to the township of Auburn known as the Paris of Clare. Let us arrange an in-house relaxation/therapeutic massage, incorporating a blend of essential oils to a deeper technique focusing on muscle spasms, neck and back pain. Can be a full hour treatment or two 40 minute treatments. Minimum of 48 hours notice must be given before arrival.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to whole house and gardens. 2 metre high fences at the rear. 1 metre picket fence at the front. Dogs need to be supervised.
The Neighborhood:
Short stroll to recommended Terroir Restaurant. Meet the friendly locals at the Rising Sun Hotel. Ride a bicycle on the Riesling Trail. Plenty of cellar doors and wineries to call at and taste our Clare Valley wines. Coffee and cake after a game of mini golf. Discover nearby wineries, such as Taylors. Grossett & Mt Horrocks Wines are within walking distance. Enjoy local produce at nearby restaurants and cafes. Auburn has many charming historical buildings.
Getting Around:
Structured tours are available, taking in restaurants and wineries or you can plan your own self drive tour. Minimum of 48 hours must be given for tours.
Other Things to Note:
Please consider water usage as the property is run on tank water.
The property has envirocycle for waste so nothing but toilet paper must go down the toilet and care must be taken not to put food down the sink drains. This can cause the system to clog and stop working. Alarm will go off. If used properly, works very well.
Please note we require a copy of your drivers licence or passport upon booking.
The guest name and ID must match the credit card used for payment. If you are booking on someone else’s behalf, then we will require your ID in addition to the guests.
A $150 Security Deposit is charged to ensure keys, cards or remotes are all returned.
