Originally part of a pineapple plantation, the property has been transformed into a cosy two-bedroom cottage, surrounded by tropical gardens and wildlife. This is the perfect space to relax, listen to the birds, watch the wallabies play and enjoy the sunshine.

Summary: My hubby and I stayed for 4 nights with our two dogs. The property is located at the end of a country road just off the highway, and as you drive in you just know it is going to be peaceful. The cottage is well maintained and very clean with some beautiful homely touches, and it has everything you need to cook a meal or to simply relax. It is only 20 minutes into town to go to the shops or go out for a meal, but we loved that it was just far enough away to escape the noise. We absolutely loved our time there and will definitely return the next time we stay in the Mackay region!
