The Palm Beach artificial reef can provide excellent beach breaks for longboarding, shortboarding and stand-up paddle boarding (a mini-mal and a surfboard are provided at Beach Break for guest use). It is a popular spot for snorkelling and fishing. In summer, there are a number of patrolled sections for swimming within a short walking distance.
