The kitchen and living room are spacious with high ceilings, tropical hardwoods, and polished concrete throughout the home . Plenty of sun-drenched windows and glass doors let in the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach.
There are two “master bedrooms” one with a impressive sliding barn door and the other is a private master suite. Both air conditioned master bedrooms have king beds and bathrooms with rain showers with on demand hot water. The “Boardroom” also has a king bed , air conditioning, and has room for secure surfboard storage. The ceiling fans and the ocean breeze keep the house cool throughout the day. There is also a safe for all your belongings.
The house has a large gourmet kitchen which is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances , gas range, microwave , and a dishwasher. Beautiful handcrafted wood accents and furniture make the home feel modern and tropical. An island that seats six is perfect for dining and entertaining.
The large outdoor patio is partially covered and is perfect for lounging and dining. A large Guanacaste tree provides shade and palms and tropical trees cover the property. Winding up the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck is great spot for stargazing.
This property is exactly what you need to getaway and unwind on a secluded beach. Located a short walk from the house is a private sandy beach. This beach is great for beginners and experienced surfers. Spend your downtime swaying in a hammock reading a book or beach combing looking for seashells and sand dollars. At low tide check out the tide pools! Don’t forget to bring a mask and snorkel to see the tropical fish! Go fishing right off the beach or try casting off the reef. Explore the community on a beach cruiser bike or check out the many different surf breaks a short walk from the house ( auschillo, hemmies/ the point, chiggas, robins right, and ranchos)
Within the development of Finca Del Mar is Los Cordones Eco Lodge and Restaurant. The lodge offers yoga , solo and couples massages, surfboard, fat bike rentals, beach front hammocks, shady palapa's, horseback riding , and a un-forgettable sunset surf! A round of golf at the neighbouring resort of "Gran Pacifica" can also be scheduled with cart and clubs or a guided fishing trips with Captain Dan. If you wish to explore Nicaragua from your new home base, day trips can be scheduled from the lodge. Volcanos, Local markets, coffee plantations, and tours of neighbouring cities. Los Cordones also has a turtle nursery where throughout the year you can witness turtles laying eggs , or better yet - newly hatched turtles crawling back to the ocean!

Casa Palmera is located an hour and a half drive west from Managua and our property manager can arrange pickup to and from the airport or anywhere in Nicaragua.
