If you plan on taking the train, Myki is the card you will need for all public transportation. When using a Myki card, please remember to always have sufficient value for your journey as hefty on the spot fines apply if you travel without correct fare or do not "tap on." Trips are about $3.80 for a 2-hour journey, but it all depends on what zones you travel in, if you are a concession card holder and if you buy a day pass. Myki cards can be topped up at any 7-11 Stores (7-Eleven Flemington, Boundary &, Racecourse Rd, Flemington VIC 3031) or at many other shops that display the MYKI logo.
