The Love Shack Mermaid is a private, air-conditioned, dog friendly, beachside cottage with detached air conditioned bungalow for office/second TV room/3rd sleeping area. Front & back fenced yards for a dog. 2min walk to the beach at the end of street. Sleeps 4 in main house with 1 queen and 2 singles. 1 queen sofa bed and a single floor mattress in the detached bungalow (no bathroom). Sheets, towels, toiletries included, 2 large TV's, free Wi Fi, boogie boards, foam surfboards, 1 bike, 1 kids scooter, games. No extra charges for linen or pets. Only cleaning fee is additional. Driver's licence required for bookings over 1 week.
If you’re not driving, transport to the north and south is easy as the main Surfside bus line is right outside your door. Your stops to and from the airport are just metres from the house. NEW! Woolies Metro in the newly constructed Mermaid Plaza is across the road.
You will find an abundance of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, including Bam Bam Bakehouse https://www.bambambakehouse.com. You will also be a short drive to Black Hops Brewery and Granddad jack's Gin Distillery, and a number of surf clubs. A list of attractions is provided in your welcome pack.
If you would like to bring one or two dogs, there are conditions so please have a chat with us first. Sorry no cats. We do ask that, due to wear and tear on furniture that your dog stays off the beds and couches. There is a dog door for a small dog.
