The home has had a modern transformation but retains many of its original features including timber floorboards and leadlight windows. The home is set in an English inspired garden and is located just a short stroll from the city centre, parks, convenience stores and restaurants.
Silver Birch Cottage is thoughtfully furnished for a comfortable stay. There is a fully equipped, farmhouse style kitchen compete with stainless steel appliances. There is a cosy lounge framed by a large leadlight window, comfortable seating, TV and Wifi.
French doors open out onto a charming paved pergola with sprawling garden and grassy backyard. Perfect for outdoor relaxation and entertaining.
There are three bedrooms, configured as follows:
Bedroom 1 - 1 queen bed
Bedroom 2 - 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3 - 1 bunk bed
The bathroom is renovated and features a shower over bath. There is a dryer and washing machine in a dedicated laundry. Reverse cycle airconditioners provide for a comfortable indoor climate year round.
The house sits behind a high front fence ensuring compete privacy. The backyard is securely fenced, with large grassed backyard, vegetable patch and garden.
There is undercover parking for 2 vehicles, and ample off street parking
Pricing is based on two people using one bedroom. Additional fees apply for access to additional bedrooms.
While this home is comfortably spacious for couples and small families, it is not a large house and is probably unsuitable for big families or groups. The 3rd bedroom is quite small and probably best suited as a children’s room with the bunk beds.
There is a single bathroom and shower over a bath which requires good mobility to access.
Guests should be aware this is an old house, which has been modernised, but is not completely renovated. We love its rustic charm and hope our guests love it too.
Short stay bookings are generally accepted up to 3 months in advance.
Longer term bookings can be made greater than 3 months in advance.
