This gorgeous 81 acre farm stay property is sure to delight with its unrivalled views of Corner Inlet, Wilson’s Prom, the coast and countryside. Enjoy the wildlife and a stroll through the arbour and beautiful gardens. The property has a large fully equipped chef’s kitchen, dining, lounge complete with log fire, Bose surround sound speaker system, second sitting area, covered front deck, with outdoor BBQ and dining for 6 people to relax and enjoy the views. Pick your own culinary delights from the large herb and vegetable gardens and cook a gourmet pizza in the fantastic outdoor pizza oven (firewood provided), again spectacularly situated to capitalise on the magnificent views. There is no better spot from which to gaze in awe at the night sky and the myriad stars of the Milky Way (telescopes provided). In addition, the property and surrounds boasts a host of native wildlife – birds in particular from the smallest blue wrens and gold finches to wattle birds, magpies, kookaburras or sit and watch the wedge-tail eagles soaring overhead - echidnas, wombats, wallabies and the occasional koala.
Take a drive to the nearby townships of Foster, Toora (less than 15 minutes’ drive) or beyond to Fish Creek, or to the beautiful beaches of Waratah Bay, Sandy Point and the many bays and beaches of Wilson’s Prom. Take advantage of the excellent pubs, cafes, restaurants, and all the local tourist attractions that South Gippsland has to offer. (There is an excellent Guest Manual of information at the property.) The garage accommodates 2 cars with plenty of parking for extra vehicles. Please note beyond the precincts of the house and gardens, the farm fences are barbed wire.
Comprising three spacious bedrooms sleeping 6 guests, all with ceiling fans, walk-in robes and Queen size beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite. The main bathroom is large, light and airy with heating and cooling. The laundry is conveniently located directly outside the entrance door with washing machine and trough (no clothes dryer).
Outside - Relax at this wonderful family home, entertain your family and friends on either of two decks, one with panoramic views of picturesque farmland rolling down to Corner Inlet and Wilson’s Prom beyond and the islands of Bass Strait. The other deck faces north with beautiful bush and farm views towards Mt. Fatigue. Falls Creek, on the northern perimeter of the property, abuts the natural bush and boasts two beautiful cascading waterfalls which can be reached on foot by track through the property by the more active and adventurous guests.
