Summary:
Nestled amongst the trees in the centre of the beautiful Adelaide Hills. 3-min drive to Stirling and 10-mins to Hahndorf. Cellar doors, country pubs and other Adelaide Hills attractions on your doorstep. Parrots and other native birds in the garden and if you're lucky you'll hear/see our resident koala.
This country home is an ideal escape with the family. Set on over 2,000 sqm of lush gardens with outdoor dining, gazebo and wide sweeping verandahs surrounded by towering trees.
The Space:
A rustic country home with lots of light and timber ceilings throughout.
The lounge room has double doors to the verandahs both front and rear and features a combustion fire place. It is a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need, cutlery, crockery, pots and appliances. With stone bench tops, Miele gas stove, dishwasher and filtered water, you are very comfortable throughout your stay.
The main bedroom sits at the rear of the property over looking the gardens and has it's own private en-suite. Complete with King (N.Z.) bed, plenty of wardrobe space and timber floors.
There are two other bedrooms at the rear. Bedroom 2 is fitted with a Queen bed and again large windows that are filled with the beautiful garden scenery. The room also has a roof window over the bed so you can gaze at the stars before drifting off to sleep. This room is accessed through the 3rd bedroom/office space.
The 3rd bedroom/office space has a King single bed and a desk and chair to get some work done, or work from home while staying.
In addition there is the main bathroom with large shower space and the laundry with washing machine.
The gardens are the real cherry on top for this home. Very large, private, and native with large towering trees, meandering paths and surprise areas to stop and ponder. There are two separate dining areas, outdoor BBQ, a gazebo with fairy lights and bar table which is going to be gorgeous for a wine in the evening.
Parking is in the driveway, and there is enough for 4 cars easily. There is a garage but this is not available.
Pets are welcome however the rear garden is not fully secure and you can wander from rear to front.
Guest Access:
You can check in yourself anytime from 3:00 PM via a lockbox. The details will be emailed the day before arrival.
So if you are arriving late, you can take your time and check in at your leisure. There is a sensor light if you arrive in the dark.

For the outdoors lovers bring your hiking boots to explore the local trails of the Adelaide Hills or your mountain bike to try your skills at Eagle on the Hill Mountain Bike Park.
If you prefer to just relax, kick back on the veranda and watch the koalas and birds as the sun sets over the forest.
Aldgate, Stirling and Crafers village are very close with great restaurants, dining and hotels.
Getting Around:
Just minutes from the city, it’s a simple commute and a must-see for anyone setting out on a day-trip adventure in the Adelaide Hills. Both Aldgate and Stirling are an ideal place to visit, as families enjoy the pleasures of a scenic drive.
Take the region’s many scenic routes and you’ll find sensational views at every turn. Travelling by bus, taxi or private car, Aldgate can be quickly and effortlessly reached in less than 10 minutes on the South Eastern Freeway.
