Cosy and comfortable this spacious cottage has an interesting history. Located within walking distance to the CBD of Ballarat & railway station. The property sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms.
Spacious bedrooms, high ceilings, modern kitchen and bathrooms and a light filled open plan living area. Enjoy cottage gardens at the front of the property and european styled private courtyard garden at the back.
This historic 1859 authentic Victorian Goldfields cottage is nestled behind cottage gardens. The ornate lacework on the verandah and the stained glass windows showcase the Italianate architecture.
The four bedrooms are peppered off the entrance hallway. One of the front bedrooms includes a bay window, queen bed and sitting room with a television. While the other front bedroom has twin single beds. The third bedroom has an ensuite complete with shower and toilet. While the fourth bedroom has an entrance from the main hallway and also the living room. All bedrooms are fitted with reverse cycle heating/cooling and are light filled.
The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and bath and is stocked with Sukin products for your use.
A large, light filled, spacious living space completes the property. A modern kitchen, laundry with washing machine & dryer will ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Also in this space is the dining table and lounge area. All with views to the European styled private courtyard garden.
Outside you will find a lovely garden to enjoy, see what you can find in the herb garden, or enjoy a morning coffee or evening wine.
Located in historic Soldiers Hill it is a short 5 minute walk to cafes, 15 mins walk to Ballarat Railway station, airport shuttle bus, cinemas, art gallery, CBD, Aldi, and 30 mins walk to Lake Wendouree.
You will have access to the full property, except the garage.

Please, nothing but toilet paper should go in the toilet. There’s a little rubbish bin for everything else. Please DO NOT stand on the toilet seat, we sit on the toilet seat.

Bin location:yellow and green bins is on the south side of the house entered via an unlocked picket gate from the front of the house at the end of the verandah.
General Waste (red lid or small green bin) - collected weekly
Recycling (yellow lid) - please do not put glass or soft plastics in the bin (use general waste bin)
Green waste (bright green lid) - please do not put food scraps or pet waste in the bin (use general waste)
Unless we send message and request, a Flairbnb team member will take the rubbish bins to the kerb for collection and put away again. Please make sure they have access to the bins from the afternoon prior to the bin collection day.

Strictly 10am. Due to cleaning scheduling we cannot accommodate late check outs. Please leave the key to the property back in the lockbox.
