Two bedroom family and pet friendly apartment (internal 85m squared) with kitchen, hidden in the trees is only 8 minutes from the beach and 12 minutes from Coolangatta Airport. The large deck with outdoor dining table and BBQ over looks the swimming pool. The property backs onto Crown Koala land giving a wonderful sense of seclusion.
The large kitchen has a four hob stove, fridge, microwave, slow cooker, and breakfast bar with two stools. There is a four seater dining table. The lounge area has a comfortable couch in front of the smart TV along with some childrens toys & books.
The master bedroom (Kookaburra) is very large. This has a queen bed and a spacious built-in cupboard. This room can sleep two adults and two children if needed. There is also another sofa and a coffee table in this room, in front of the 2nd TV to enable to guests to retreat to. The bedroom has sliding doors leading out to the sweeping timber deck.
The second bedroom (Koala) is spacious and contains a queen bed, a tall boy set of drawers and substantial hanging space. We also have another double mattress that can be added for children.
If you wake up early, you will hear the sounds of the birds singing. You can have a quick dip in the private pool to wake up and enjoy breakfast on the deck. On the deck there is a old BBQ outdoor dining table and chairs, perfect for the lazy afternoon.
Currumbin Waters is set back from the busy traffic but only 8 minutes drive to Currumbin Beach and Elephant rock. Areas of interest are; the Currumbin Valley rock pools, the Australian iconic wildlife at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary that also has a thrilling treetop challenge.
The property is below the main house. During school term we are home, but you will have exclusive use of the entertainment area . The pool is shared. You may hear children activity upstairs. Generally, on school holidays we are away.
