HOUSE RULES
* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am
* No smoking
* No parties or events
* Pets are allowed (special requirements are in place for this. Please refer to the additional rules below).
* The home can accommodate up to 9 guests with the sofa bed and trundle bed upon request, with a fee of $140 for each bed. Please let us know upon booking if this option is required.
ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is NINE people, however, we do allow day visitors of up toFOURpeople. No more than a maximum of ELEVEN people are allowed in the property at any given time.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*This apartment is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise, especially after 9 pm.
*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.
* Pets - We are a pet-friendly property. We ask all our guests to contact us for approval of pets before booking and include your request in the reservation form as there is a pet fee of $110 per stay to cover the cost of extra cleaning and disinfection. Please do not allow your pets to do on the furniture.
THINGS TO KNOW:
* This property is suitable for babies or children. Items such as cots and high-chairs we do not supply, however, you are welcome to bring these yourself to the property.
* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
* There are cameras outside the home facing the front door and cliff side of the property. This is just for the safety of our guests and the home itself. Rest assured, it will not have any affect on your privacy as there are no cameras inside the home!
* Due to recent extreme weather, the cliff edge of the garden at the back of the home has eroded a bit and part of the garden has fallen. It has not affected the home in any way, however, for safety reasons we ask that you do not go to the cliff edge from the veranda. There is still garden space available at the side of the home that can be accessed by going around the front side.
* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

Austinmer is a charming beachside village north of Wollongong. Fifty years ago, Austinmer was one of the many coastal coal mining villages which lay to the north of Wollongong. With the decline of coal in the area and the arrival of a regular electric train service to Sydney it quickly acquired a certain chic charm. Commuters decided it was within their price range and still close enough to Sydney. Today it is the most popular beach north of Thirroul. Holidaymakers come for extended breaks and summer weekends. The seductive combination of a sandy 250-metre beach nestled between rocky headlands, rock platforms pockmarked with rock pools alive with sea creatures, two ocean pools (one for toddlers), comprehensive amenities, a beach edged by grass which is ideal for picnicking, a backdrop of 45-year-old Norfolk pines and cafes serving decent coffee, gelatos and inner-city cuisine demonstrates that its popularity is justified.

Austinmer is a beachside town/suburb north of Wollongong. It is 15 km north of Wollongong and
73 km from Sydney via the Bulli Pass. A more scenic, but slower, route down the coast via Stanwell
Park is 70 km.

Our home is a single storey, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms oceanfront dream. The floorplan consists of an open plan kitchen that doubles up as an entertaining space, There is also has a huge deck overlooking the ocean and headlands that expand past Wollongong. There is also 3 large bedrooms, one perfect for the kids! The kids room comes complete with a desk for colouring in, a smart TV, bunkbeds and beanbags - the perfect hangout!
The house sleeps 9 adults comfortably or two young families. It has WiFi, Netflix, BBQ, and laundry facilities. All bed linen and bath towels are supplied.
