Named after the rare Glossy Black Cockatoos that sometimes occur around the house, Glossies at Coastal Retreat offers you the opportunity to pause and unwind and escape the craziness of everyday life. Enjoy sunsets with a glass of wine on the back deck or a morning coffee listening to the birds call from the surrounding native gardens and nearby bush land reserves.
Located in Valla Beach, a small quiet coastal village 30 minutes south of Coffs Harbour and half-way between Brisbane and Sydney, Glossies at Coastal Retreat is a lovely light filled and spacious modern holiday getaway with a coastal vibe that makes the best of indoor/outdoor living. It is located across from the Valla Nature Reserve and is an 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Valla.
While the house caters for 9 people, it is also perfectly suited for a couple getaway or a small family holiday. There is plenty of space to relax with a large living area with two lounge areas plus three private decks and a large fully fenced backyard. The house contains 4 bedrooms including a very spacious master bedroom with ensuite containing a shower and a large bath tub, a separate bathroom plus a powder room off the main deck.
The large kitchen, which opens onto the undercover alfresco area, is made for entertaining and has everything you need to help you create yummy feasts from locally sourced produce and seafood. The outdoor alfresco area also has a Ziggler and Brown BBQ and an 8 seater outdoor setting. It is suited to lazy afternoons, long lunches or the perfect spot for a competitive board or card game.
Glossies at Coastal Retreat also caters for friendly, well-behaved dogs. So bring along your fur friend and enjoy the two dog friendly beaches that Valla Beach offers. A $100 per pet and agreement to our pet policy applies. Guests must advise of any pets at the time of booking. Due to the tranquil surroundings and out of respect for our neighbours, no car-events, schoolies or parties are permitted. Noise must be kept to reasonable levels at all times and no noise is permitted after 10pm.
Glossies at Coastal Retreat comfortably sleeps up to 9 people.The entire house is available except any locked cupboards, the downstairs granny flat (unoccupied) and garage.
