The space
You will love the peaceful yet convenient location of Grovewood, a spacious 3 bedroom house with a veranda and large deck to enjoy all year round. Views of the garden and surrounding farmland provide a feeling of space and serenity.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast provisions on the first morning of your stay including free range eggs (seasonal) from our happy chooks, toast, local honey, and fresh coffee on the sunny verandah.
In the evening - a BBQ and drinks watching the sun set on the spacious deck, overlooking your private veggie garden and listening to the beautiful native birds.
Grovewood is equipped with everything you'll need: NBN Wi-Fi, premium kitchen appliances, huge fridge, 900mm induction cooktop, electric oven and adjoining dining with French doors opening to the large L-shaped deck with gas BBQ and outdoor dining.
The open plan living room is a haven for relaxation boasting a large Sony smart TV, DVD, books, games, and reverse cycle A/C that warms or cools the whole cottage.
The spacious Master Bedroom has French doors opening to the verandah and views, a full ensuite with large walk in shower and walk through robe.
Two further bedrooms have views of the surrounding garden, and share a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a full sized bath to fully unwind.
The cottage is beautifully furnished and homely, with comfy beds, quality linen, pantry and fridge necessities and bathroom products.
There is plenty of secure off-street parking for the boat or cars.
Your hosts (Linda & Richard) have backgrounds in cheffing, renovation, restoration, colour consulting and wildlife illustration. They personally take care of every aspect of the property from greeting to housekeeping.
Since opening Grovewood in 2019 they have been awarded Premier Host status for their excellence in hosting and are in the top 5% of homes as rated by guests.

Guest access
Guests have self check in, and full access to the whole cottage and fully fenced private rear garden.
Grovewood is 50m away from the main residence, but completely separate.
You are welcome to feed the friendly chickens (located in the adjoining garden).
Other things to note
🛌 Please book accurately for the exact amount of guests. Bedrooms, bedding and towels are allocated according to your paid booking.
🛏️ Bedroom 3 has a KS Bed and a Single foam floor mattress (for the 7th guest).
🔑To avoid an expensive nightly rate, we charge a base rate for one or two people. Extra guests are then charged at $55p/p per night.
🗓️ For groups of 5 people or more there is a 2 night minimum stay.
🎅 During peak season we aim to offer the cottage to groups of 4 guests or more.
🐶 Please note we have a no pet policy.
🚭 GROVEWOOD is a non smoking property inside and out, grounds included.
☕️ We provide all linen, towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, breakfast provisions for one morning, tea and coffee, and pantry basics.
🤫 Grovewood is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood and has a noise curfew of 9pm (10pm on weekends).
🌶️ During spring and summer we grow rather hot chilli’s in the veggie garden!
