'Hide-Away' is a very private retreat in the heart of Goolwa's Little Scotland, The cottage, named after Hide-Away Tom, father of 'Storm Boy' – the world-famous film shot in Goolwa, on which Film Director Scott Hicks began his career.

Only steps away, the beautiful coastal cycle path invites you to jump onto one of the bicycles provided and ride to Goolwa Beach, Middleton or Port Elliot. The energetic could even reach The Bluff.
On the nearby river you can tie up your boat at the wharf, or paddle canoes beneath the sweeping arch of the bridge. Explore the historic wharf and relax over a coffee or glass of wine.
For those of a more indulgent frame of mind curl up in front of the slow combustion stove and read or make a start on that novel you always intended to write. There is even a separate study for you.
