This countryside retreat is set on a 25-acre property behind Nambour, surrounded by a spring-fed creek and a swimming hole.The Space:This property is located in the serene suburb of Perwillowen, just 7 minutes from the rural town Nambour - Sunshine Coast Region. A scenic drive will take you to the breathtaking Buderim Forest Park and Kondalilla National Park. These natural wonders boast scenic walking trails, waterfalls, and inviting rock pools ideal for a refreshing swim.For seaside adventures, a quick 30-minute drive from our charming tiny home will lead you to the sun-kissed shores of Coolum Beach and Mooloolaba Beach. These idyllic spots provide the perfect setting to unwind, soak up the sun, and create unforgettable memories with loved ones.A snug, 139-square-foot tiny home and nearest accommodation in Sunshine Coast with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).If you plan to spend your farm stay QLD getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Our local recommendations:- Nambour is a rural town that offers easy access to restaurants, shops, and outdoor recreation.- The Ginger Factory has fun rides, fascinating tours, and beautiful subtropical gardens for everyone to enjoy.- Dulong Lookout is a popular tourist attraction, with panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast from Coolum to Caloundra.- Australia Zoo is a 700-acre zoo that boasts a variety of Australia's native wildlife along with interactive activities for everyone to enjoy.Beach Destinations- Coolum Beach is 37 minutes from the property, known for its surfing and golfing. Perfect holiday destination!- Mooloolaba Beach is a pristine stretch of coastline, it is a popular destination for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. - Mudjimba Beach is located in a coastal suburb, with stunning golden sands, and just across the road is the ever-popular Lizard Café Bar, which is well-known for its big breakfasts, great coffee, and service.Natural parks with outdoor activities- Buderim Forest Park is a lush subtropical rainforest, with tranquil walking trails, and the iconic Serenity Falls. The park's main attraction, Kondalilla Falls, most popular for swimming in its rock pools.Getting Around:By car:- 5 min drive to and from Nambour- 20 min drive to and from Coolum - 20 min drive to and from Mooloolaba - 40 min drive to and from Noosa National Park By public transport: All trains and busses come into Nambour Station, 5-min ride by taxi or Uber to the property.Other Things to Note:- Please bring your own firewood- Please be mindful of water usage- No smoking allowed on the property- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics, close windows, and lock doors when leaving the tiny house- You're welcome to collect firewood on the property, but we recommend picking up a couple of bags from the local Woolworths or gas station on your way.- If possible, please take any rubbish with you when you depart. Help us prepare for the next guests by leaving the tiny house clean, with all items washed, dried, and put away.Bio-toilet: Please read the instructions carefully to avoid issues. The toilet operates on a cassette system, so limit water usage for flushing to prevent it from filling quickly. If the indicator shows full, notify us immediately before further use. With normal usage, it typically lasts 2–3 nights.Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban- Always ensure fires are completely out before bed, as winds may pick up overnight. While there's currently no fire ban, exercise extreme caution in hot or windy conditions- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
