Built at the turn of the previous century, Idlehour is full of period charm mixed with modern amenities.
Situated across the street from The Mountain Heritage Hotel (home of Yulefest, Spa Sublime and Jamison Views Restaurant), Idlehour offers stunning views while, at the same time, being just a ten-minute stroll to Katoomba’s cafes, shops and train station.
This single level property has three good-sized bedrooms – two each with a queen bed and one with two bunk beds -- to comfortably sleep eight. A porta cot is also available at no additional cost. All linen is supplied.
Enjoy a soak in the claw-footed tub in one bathroom or a shower in the second. A washer and dryer are also available for the use of our guests.
Curl up in front of the open fireplace or browse the selection of DVDs, board games and books available at the property. The large backyard is fully secure and is equipped with a BBQ and an alfresco dining table and chairs.
Idlehour is the perfect holiday home for couples, families, two small sharing families, a three-generation getaway or even a cosy book club retreat. There is off road parking for two cars as well as street parking.

House Rules
This property is NOT a party house. Council, police and the local community have strict requirements in regard to nuisance noise and offensive behaviour. Heavy fines apply including loss of bond and possible eviction. All bookings must be made by a responsible adult over 25 years of age.
There is a minimum stay of two nights due to the overheads of cleaning a large house and changing and laundering all of the linen.
Bins are to be left out for collection on Tuesday nights.
