Jeraboam offers guests comfort, cleanliness and complete seclusion just within the Grampians National Park. Enjoy magnificent views of the Mt William Range, watch kangaroos, emus, wallabies, deer and birds, both small and large, out the windows of the cottage and enjoy the surrounding bush and wildflowers. There are many walking tracks nearby.
The Lodge is of rammed earth construction and strives to be completely self sufficient in energy and water. Jeraboam is situated on 37 hectares just east of Mt William and comfortably accommodates 4 adults in two bedrooms, with a smaller bedroom that can accommodate 2 children. The top-floor master bedroom contains a queen-size bed and has panoramic views of Mt William and Redman Bluff.

A third, smaller bedroom has two day beds, that would suit children.
There is one bathroom with shower and WC.
All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.
A fully-fitted kitchen contains both a wood-burning and gas stove. The kitchen provides self-sufficient facilities with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils pots and pans and a fully-stocked pantry. The wood-burning stove also heats hot water for the bathroom and kitchen during winter. A solar hot water heater does the same job during the warmer months. Rooftop photovoltaic cells and storage batteries provide electricity and the property strives to be self-sufficient for both power and water.
The property has an open fire, picture windows, TV, DVD and stereo sound system which accepts MP3 players. The internet is available via the NBN satellite service and a Wi-Fi router distributes it through the house. The service is suitable for checking emails and social media, etc but cannot support gaming, video streaming, or downloading of movies.
There is a large cleared area around the house with an outdoor setting and barbecue. There is also a bonfire pit and a vegetable garden and orchard where you are welcome to pick whatever is in harvest.
The property is pet friendly, provided your pet will not interfere with the wildlife (the property is bordered on 3 sides by the Grampians NP). A dog pen to suit a medium-sized dog and kennel is available but please let us know if you are planning to bring pets.
A separate bungalow, containing a double bed, single bed and a wood heater is available by arrangement.
Firewood is provided for the wood stove, open fire and wood heater in the bungalow.
Jeraboam has its own seasonal creek and a permanent landscaped dam, available for swimming. Orchids, wildflowers and native birds and animals abound. There are bushwalking tracks around the property and tracks and roads on the eastern side of the Grampians are all easily accessible from here. The Mt William Picnic Ground and Kalymna Falls is close by and maps are available from the property to show you the closest attractions.
Halls Gap, Ararat and Stawell are all about a half hour's drive away. Lake Fyans and Lake Bellfield are also within 30 minutes. Wineries, including Seppelts, Langhi Ghiran. Montara and Bests, are an easy drive too. A little further away is the area around Avoca, with multiple award-winning wineries to visit.
Eat at Barney's Tavern in Pomonal (20 minutes drive) and serves superior pub fare. The Pomonal General Store is open during daylight hours and sells local and gourmet produce, local arts and crafts, gourmet ground coffee, newspapers, petrol and diesel. Call them on 5356 6294 to check hours. The Moyston Shop is now open serving coffee, cakes and pastries and Persian inspired food.

Please note: Check in time is 4pm, though you are welcome to come 30 minutes earlier for a walk around the property. Check out time is 1.30 pm.
Prices quoted are for 2 adults. We charge $25 per extra adult per night and $15 per child.
