Positive: the nostalgia and the beautiful furniture and chandeliers the whole setting of the furnishings - how well the house is kept as it was built in the 1870's -The beds linen , blankets , clean and crisp - heating and cooling in the bedrooms and lounge, very well looked after and i love that there was a massive dining table to sit at and no wifi it gave my my Mum and i a chance to sit and eat together facing eachother and to spend good quality time -We explored the property and discovered some old original things from the past which were cool - i felt like i stepped back in time and imaged how life would have been for a family that lived there. the host Colleen was very helpful and easy to communicate with. And she took on the suggestions i made for the property. The property is not far from the river and the main street of Mannum. i felt so relaxed and rested after my visit .- -the front garden beautiful The River view from the loft front area - Stunning

Negative: Just be aware for elderly or those unable to walk up and down stairs with walking aids as there is a very steep entrance. Due to how old and unique the property is - it has to be kept as close as possible to the original style as it is heritage listed. i suggested that some more lighting be added to the entrance where the stairs and car is parked as it is quite dark so i had to use my phone torch at night . I should have done more research its my own fault and paid more attention of the photos of the shower and more aware of the shower access as my Mum was unable to climb into the bath and access to the property. i think was too excited about how beautiful it looked on booking .com page -
