Summary: Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly. On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs and a table at the terrace. I had booked a room for 3, with a futon sofa; there was no futon in the room. When I complained about this, they asked why do I need a futon. Well, in principle I would like to get what I pay for. The manager was not ”available” to address my complaint, and also during the check-out the same staff member ignored my complaint. For a price of almost 300$/night I would expect more comfort in the room.
