The house is newly renovated and ready to welcome its first guest. The house is set on several acres of beautiful bushland, in a unique location with completely private access to Lake Eildon right at the front gate.
At the centre of the house is a cosy living room with a fireplace, and a well set up kitchen. You can BBQ on the weber or in the fire pit, and most importantly kick back and relax on the huge deck overlooking the lake and bushland.
There are four comfortable bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one with two bunks and a cot, and one with a bunk (double bed on the bottom).
The house is fully off-grid, solar power and tank water, so we do ask you are especially careful using water and electricity.
Lake Eildon is just metres from the house, you can boat, fish, kayak or just cool off. There are kayaks, life jackets and inflatables at the house for you to use.
The house is a perfect get away for two families or a small group of friends. No parties, events or camping.

SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED – WE KINDLY ASK YOU BRING YOUR OWN
We do provide hand towels, bathmat and tea towels.
The only heating is a wood heater in the living room and in winter it gets chilly.
There is no TV, but books and games to use, and being in the bush there isn’t broadband, but you can get Telstra reception and minimal Optus reception. A stay a Lakeside Bush Retreat is your chance for a digital detox but if you need some screen time, we suggest you download what you like to watch or play onto your device before you come and stay.
