Millbury Farm is situated at the end of a quiet no through road close to Warburton. With views of the paddocks and mountain ranges is the perfect location for a getaway. Enter into a large open plan living area with cosy lounges, dining and a well appointed kitchen, there is wood heating for those chilly days and split system heating and cooling. From the dining area you have access to deck which takes in the amazing views.
Millbury Farm is a spacious home with everything you need for a short stay or a longer home away from home. There are four bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite, two bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and the fourth has two sets of single bunk beds. Downstairs is parent retreat with sitting area, king bed, day bed with trundle and a cot. The parent’s retreat has separate access to the front garden and a perfect spot for a morning cuppa watching the day begin.
Outdoor dining is a must at Millbury Farm with two barbeque areas. One of the verandah overlooking the mountain ranges and another in a covered gazebo for those not so sunny days.
Taking a stroll around the property, chatting with the resident chickens and cows, reading a book under a shady tree, game of backyard cricket or shooting some hoops at the basketball or netball rings are just a few of the enjoyable and relaxing things you can do at Millbury Farm.
Located a short drive to Warburton township with its speciality shops and cafes, Millbury Farm is close to everything the Warburton Valley has to offer. From the Farm a few minutes walk to the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail for cycling and walking from Millgrove to Warburton. There are so many choices for walking and cycling in the area including Warburton Rail Trail and the Yarra River walk. Bikes can be hired locally in Warburton.
Travelling by car you can visit Redwoods Forest, La La Falls and Warburton Waterwheel Information Centre. Let’s forget during winter there may be snow at Mt Donna Buang, which snow can often be seen from the property.
Only 30 minutes away is Healesville and the surrounds with the famous Healesville Sanctuary along with wineries and restaurants.
