The house contains everything you need to eat in, relax, and enjoy our amazing climate and it consists of two living spaces, the cottage and a newly added living space abode with their own separate facilities.
Suitable for holidaymakers, families, couples travelling together, or temporary business residents.

THE SPACE:
Original Queenslander Experience stars a Federation-style Bungalow that was built pre 1920’s. Designed for the tropics these homes have become an icon of elegant style. Surrounded by a rainforest garden with tropical trees and plants. You will hear birdsong and get glimpses of butterflies feeding on the flowering plants. The brightly colored foliage says you have arrived in the tropics! The majority of windows open onto the rainforest canopy giving a sense of serenity and peace.
The main home is located on the first floor. Accessible by stairs only.
The front room is equipped with two two-seater sofas for you to relax in while there is a Smart TV with complimentary Netflix and local channels. This room flows into the air-conditioned lounge room that offers a suite that seats six people and is perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or enjoying a wine. Free unlimited WiFi is provided along with various card and board games is provided for you to enjoy during your stay.
The property has three bedrooms with ceiling fans, quality mattresses, and wardrobes. The Australian king, queen, and double-sized beds allow for six people to comfortably sleep. A porta cot for your little one is always available in the listing. Please let us know in advance if you require linen.
The main home comes with 1.5 bathrooms. The full bathroom including toilet and vanity has a rain shower head and looks out into the trees.
The half-second toilet is separate with a hand basin to avoid bathroom rushing. High-quality linen and towels are provided.
Private laundry is located at the base of the back stairs. It has a washing machine and clothesline just outside. There is a clothes air rack, iron, ironing board, and other cleaning basics in the pantry cupboard upstairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, and microwave as well as all basic kitchenware. A coffee Nespresso machine is provided and a few other staples for your convenience.
The garden is shared with the ground floor unit guests. There is an outdoor bath in the garden with hot water for you to relax in and look at the stars or clouds. Both guests from upstairs and downstairs are welcome to enjoy.
Parking driveway fits one car or free, unlimited street parking right in front of the house.
The property contains the main house on the first floor (Original Queenslander Experience) and a granny flat/unit under the house on the ground floor. Both listings can be rented together to accommodate larger groups of up to 10 people or 12 if using the sofa bed downstairs. (subject to availability - contact us before booking).
PLEASE NOTE:
We try our best to eliminate all unexpected noise and visitors but please expect no less than ORIGINAL QUEENSLANDER EXPERIENCE! - you might hear the floor or the neighbors, see spiders or ants hiding from the rain. You might be also lucky to get some bananas, star fruit, mangos, passion fruit, or other snacks from the garden. And hopefully, you will enjoy it all.
The garden is maintained regularly every week. It is possible our gardener will come during your stay, no one will be accessing the house.
As we are not a hotel, we only provide a starter amenities pack for your convenience. Any further supplies needed will need to be purchased for yourself.

Guests are liable for any damage made on the property during their stay.
Upon receiving a complaint about having a party, the police will be called and you will be asked to leave immediately. No refund will be issued.
