Shearer’s Shed is a beautiful studio located just over 20 minutes scenic drive from Mudgee. The perfect place to relax after a day exploring Mudgee’s wineries. Separate from the main homestead (located 3 metres from our furthest side of the house- see photo), you will be left to enjoy your own private stay. Located on a small farm, guests can feel free to wander the back paddocks, disconnect and enjoy a sundowner by the dam. You might be lucky enough to be joined by our resident Roos.
Within the Shearer's Shed you will find a double bed with heated mattress, comfortable couch, bathroom, small kitchenette with mini bar fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, complimentary biscuits, coffee, tea and milk, along with 2x spring water bottles. All ceramic crockery has been beautifully handmade and is one of a kind. Outside the large french doors is a private patio which features a bbq and an outdoor table setting for you to enjoy. This is the perfect location to cook your own simple dinner, after a day exploring Mudgee. Whilst a stove/cook top is not available, we encourage guests to cook on the bbq or bring back food from town. Why not create your own cheese board with local cheeses and charcuterie?
Please note there is no WIFI available at the Shearer's Shed, unless requested in advance. If you have Optus or Telstra you will have phone signal. We encourage guests to disconnect during their stay.
