The beautiful formal gardens set on 8 acres that sweep down from the terrace, past the pool deck and onto the lawns below all with a view across the Leeuwin Ridge to the Indian Ocean provide the spaces and ambience for a beautiful relaxing and memorable getaway.
The house was architecturally designed and built about 15 years ago for a Balinese princess, striking minimalist design, glass floor to ceiling windows everywhere accentuated with Balinese design and décor. The second floor hosts the Master bedroom with ensuite marble bathroom, shower & bath with views to the Indian ocean. Two guest bedrooms with ensuites each with views across the estate to the Leeuwin Ridge.

Summary: The property has been described as luxury accommodation and priced accordingly. However, the actual property is far from luxury and way below expectation for the price charged. Many of the amenities in the listing were completely missing or sub-par. - Airconditioning: there is no airconditioning in the dining room, main hall and TV room even though the listing clearly states the house is airconditioned. Only two bedrooms had aircon. Surprisingly there was no flyscreen so that we could leave the doors and windows open to get some fresh air. It was boiling hot during the day and full of insects at night. - Wifi: the wifi was virtually non existent and completely unusable. - Infinity pool: the descriptions and photos show the house has an infinity pool, however the pool was a normal pool and was full of rubbish and live insects and beetles. We had to spend a substantial amount of time to clean the pool ourselves before we could even consider using it. - Cleanliness: the cleanliness was not at all as the pictures had shown. The stove and BBQ were filthy, mugs and plates had dirt and stains on them. - Garden: the garden in the photos of the listing show lush greenery and grass. The actual garden and grass was completely dry and yellow. - Insects: the house was full of beetles, spider webs, and other insects. - Run down: the house is substantially more worn down compared to what is depicted in the listing photos. - Furniture: the outdoor furniture was torn and filthy. Indoor furniture was far worse and worn than what was shown in the photos. Had we known the true state of the house we would not have proceeded with the booking at the asking price. Hence, the house is listed far overpriced.
