You will have exclusive use of the property and house except for the study and double garage which are locked. Use the double carport for parking.
Do not go near the sheds. Gardeners may come to maintain the grounds and pool during your stay. Days can vary depending on the weather so if you need to be notified prior to any visits, you MUST message and request to be notified in advance.
IMPORTANT - Please Read
The river is not fenced so there is NO barrier between the house and the river. It is imperative that you are aware of this if you are booking to stay with children. The swimming pool is fully fenced.
Sheds on the property are located away from the house and are not locked. Guests are not allowed in or around the sheds and machinery at any time.
If you are bringing a boat, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Although we have a boat ramp, it cannot be used to launch your boat. There is a boat ramp approx. 1 km from the house. You can use our ramp to access your boat etc, but you cannot under any circumstances use a boat trailer on it. The reason being that the bottom of the ramp was damaged in the floods last year, and you would lose your boat trailer off the edge where it has broken away.
When staying, please be aware that debris such as logs floating in the river often wash across into the boat ramp. Although we remove anything that is there prior to your stay, this is out of our control during your stay.
Please be extremely cautious and careful on the boat ramp. It can be very slippery, especially on lower tides as the high tide often brings mud in onto the ramp.
We have done everything we can to make your stay enjoyable, and we thank you for your consideration and respect whilst staying in our home.
House Rules
• No smoking inside or directly outside the house
• No parties - EVER
• No pets
• No high heels on timber floors
• We remove our shoes inside the house, and would be grateful if you could do the same
• Our neighbours are friendly permanent residents and we ask that you remain mindful of excessive noise during your stay.
• Quiet time between 10:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
The house is not really suited for small children, due to the fact that there is no fence between the house and the river. Therefore you will need to constantly supervise children who are visiting or staying. If children are coming to the property for any reason, they are your responsibility.
Please be vigilant in supervising them at all times !
By accepting our house rules you are confirming that we cannot be held liable in any way, for any incidents affecting any guests or visitors to the property.
The guest who has made the booking is responsible for the safety of all guests staying and any visitors to the property.
