Second Valley
Located 91KM's South of Adelaide, Second Valley is divided into two parts - the old mill on the main road and down the Valley to the sea, a tiny coastal port reminiscent of a Cornish fishing village.
Second Valley is ideal as a Kangaroo Island stopover only 15 minutes drive from the ferry or 20 minutes from Deep Creek conservation Park with its spectacular scenery and bushwalks. A short drive to several stunning golf courses and there is plenty more to see and do.
Things to do?
If you're into snorkeling, there are rock pools with fish and other sea creatures to discover including the famous leafy sea dragon.
If you like fishing, why not try for squid or garfish on the historic Second Valley built in the 1800's otherwise the brand new jetty at Rapid Bay is only 10 minutes away where the snapper might be biting.
In summer the secluded beach is fantastic for families and offers crystal clear water and a safe and friendly environment for the kids to play.
