An amazing and unique experience. You’ll have your very own intimate cozy cave suite that will feel like a home away from home. The caves were built many years ago but have been recently furnished and updated with cozy amenities.
A bit rough and rustic but a comfortable experience that will take you back in time. Each unit has running water(non heated) but you will enjoy our central Bathhouse with 4 private units with flushing toilets and hot showers just 50-150ft from your door.
Your cave comes equipped with queen bed, kitchenette items such as a sink, microwave, mini fridge as well as a French press for your morning coffee. BBQ grills are available outside. The Caves offer awesome natural climate control all year but are kept extra comfortable with our AC and heater units.
(An additional floor mattress can be added by request for additional guests.)
We are a rustic and secluded ranch in the heart of canyon country that is completely OFF-GRID, but with cozy amenities to make your stay a highlight of the trip.
Our ranch water is filtered and tested, but due to the age of the system we provide some bottled water for drinking needs.
Please plan ahead to bringing needed food or supplies with you for the evening. Our amazing location is not as convenient for a quick trip to the store or restaurant.
Self Checkin- We often have staff on site but guests will usually find their unit ready for them. The units are kept unlocked and you will find a key inside.
If you need assistance but don't see a host out and about, please use the wifi to message us.
We continue to re-vitalize this amazing location and are excited to share it with our friends visiting Moab. As we continue to make improvements to this rustic venue, we hope you will forgive a few rough spots. We have turned up the resolution of the night sky so that the stars can add to your experience. ;-)
Moab is the ultimate outdoor playground and just 30 minutes away.
You can play all day and escape back to your own peaceful and secluded dome with your loved ones, nature and the starry night.
We often have staff on site but guests will receive a code for the key box for easy self checkin.
We are completely off-grid, but when you arrive, you will find a wifi signal to enable all your communication needs.
Roll up and park your vehicle right next to your cave to unpack before parking your vehicle below the rock wall to preserve an unobstructed view of the redrock mountains for all our guests!
The final section of road to our site is on dirt roads. While they can be bumpy depending on the season, even a family sedan is able to reach the site. (high clearance or 4x4 is not needed)
Please keep your speed under 10mph around the ranch.
There are some property areas restricted for guests. These are clearly marked. Feel free to explore the rest of our 132 acre property with its endless hikes among the stunning red rock formations & enjoy the panoramic views of the Colorado River.
It is a short walk to access the river or you can climb the hill to get a birds-eye-view!
We are often visited by deer, rabbits, and the elusive Desert Bighorn Sheep. Sunset and Sunrise are a special time on the ranch when the redrock glows and the light dances on the cliffs. It is our favorite part of being so secluded in nature.
We give our guests space but are available when needed!
We often have a host or maintenance staff on site but if you need something, don’t hesitate to send a message.

We require that all pets remain on leash while on the property. This is a strict rule for the safety of guests, pets and our sensitive wildlife.
Please be sure to not leave your pets unattended in the Cave, Tent or your vehicle. Please keep pets off of the furniture for our cleaning staff and for future guests. Thank you!
While we love to host well-mannered pets we want to ensure the continual presence of our incredibly sensitive wildlife for future guests. Loud or ill-mannered pets can scare off the wildlife for months to come so we kindly ask you leave your rambunxious furry friends home with a sitter. We appreciate your consideration and judgement in this case.
