The Space:
Entering the property, you’ll first come to a tranquil private garden featuring a pergola with a rustic table setting for 4 people, a barbecue and fairy lights for magical evenings. You’ll then proceed into the house, arriving in a light-filled sunroom with games and books, decorated with handmade leather masks and performing arts memorabilia. Stained glass doors lead you through to a living /dining space with polished floorboards throughout, a table for 6 people and a 3 seater sofa that converts to a double bed if needed. There’s a large wall-mounted ‘smart’ TV with Chromecast, and the fireplace now contains an electric heater. Just off this living/dining space is the kitchen, offering a breakfast bar, an induction cooktop, wall oven, microwave, a family sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, a pull-out mixer tap, soft-close cupboards and drawers and a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods.
The unit has 3 bedrooms, all with block-out blinds to control the light flow. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, mirrored built-in wardrobes and a love-seat, while the second bedroom comes with a double bed and clothes rack. A third bedroom has 2 stackable single beds, set low to the ground, making them ideal for children, as well as its own built-in wardrobe. The unit’s bathroom features a beautiful raw-edge wood vanity, stone basin, large round mirror, heated towel racks, hand-made stone hooks and a roomy shower recess with both an overheard rainfall showerhead and a handheld one. A dedicated laundry room provides a washing machine and separate dryer.
The unit also has 2 high chairs and a travel cot upon request.

Joined to your holiday home is ‘Kaffe38’ the only cafe in Koolewong, which has run a number of small businesses as far back as the 1940s, 38 Brisbane Water Drive has housed a Real Estate, Corner Store, Post Office, News agency and now a fabulous cafe and holiday home.
Be greeted by a beautiful smile at 'Kaffe38' while the owner 'Dee' offers scrumptious breakfast, lunch and delicious treats in this absolutely gorgeous bayside getaway.
PS. The ‘Laksa’ is absolutely delicious (Fridays only)
PARKING
Drive-up a narrow driveway on the left of ‘Kaffe38’, use the two free parking spots on the right. (The 3 parking spots at the end of the driveway are reserved for the cafe.) There's also ample street parking.
The Neighborhood:
Situated on New South Wales’s Central Coast district, Koolewong is a relaxed coastal town about 80 minutes’ drive from Sydney. The unit is perfectly located, adjoining ‘Kaffe 38’, a charming café with outdoor seating that also offers live music on occasion. If you’re in the mood for something fancier, Koolewong’s Boathouse Bar & Dining is less than 10 minutes’ walk away, serving a Modern Australian menu. Murphy’s Bay is only a few minute’s stroll from the unit too, while the Brisbane Water National Park is an easy drive away, offering hiking trails, lookouts, cycling loops and Aboriginal engraving sites.
Getting Around:
On-site parking is available, as well as street parking for wider vehicles. For guests who prefer public transport, Koolewong train station is directly opposite ‘Kaffe 38’, with nearby buses servicing the area too.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
