Rose Cottage is perfect for a family getaway or if you are travelling through overnight with or without pets or for those working in Dubbo or surrounds and wanting the comforts of home. Pets are welcome both inside and outside the home.
It is a centrally located pet and child friendly 3 bedroom fully furnished cottage that comfortably sleeps 6. There is a sofa bed in the living room if needed for an extra person. Air conditioning is supplied by multiple split system air conditioning/heating units to keep the house comfortable.
Living Room:
32 inch smart TV, DVD and CD players, DVDs, puzzles, games, books and toys catering to all age groups. Free WIFI. Air conditioner & fan. Double sofa bed.
Kitchen/Dining Room:
Fully equipped dine-in kitchen / dining room. It is fitted with all the conveniences of home for self catering. Coffee/tea making facilities are provided. Air conditioner and fan cool the back end of the house and 3rd bedroom.
3 Bedrooms:
Front Bedroom - Double bed, air conditioner, fan. Also houses toys, portacot, baby gate and high chair for our little visitors, and shower chair for our older visitors.
Middle Bedroom - Queen bed, air conditioner, fan. Bedding for sofa bed.
Back Bedroom - Queen bed, fan. Shared air conditioner in dining room.
Electric blankets and linen provided for all beds.
Bathroom:
Toilet, Shower and Vanity.
Towels are supplied.
Laundry:
Toilet, washing machine, sink.
Front Yard:
Fully fenced with a car port, ideal for keeping small children and dogs secure.
Back Yard:
The shady rear yard is child and pet friendly. It has tall fences and gates ideal for large and small dogs. There is plenty of room to run around after a day of travel.
There is a BBQ, outdoor setting and dog house in the back yard.
Two dog beds and a wading pool are also available. We can also provide access to a lockable garden shed if you bring bicycles with you.
In close proximity to the house are local shops on both Tamworth St (includes an IGA, bottle shop, chemist, newsagent and coffee shop) and Boundary Road (includes the South Dubbo Tavern & Bottle Shop, great for a family meal, chemist, post office and a medical centre. Dubbo Base Hospital is s convenient 3.4 km journey. The local bus route stops at the corner, one house away. A leash free dog park is less than 2 kms away.
The house is located in Dubbo NSW, the home of Taronga Western Plains Zoo, 7.5 kms away, Old Dubbo Gaol, the Macquarie River, Players Paint Ball and many other activities. The cycle track that circles the river and zoo is easily accessible from the house. Downtown Macquarie Street features 2 malls, Myer and a variety of retail stores, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Orana Mall is located to the East and is 3.5 kms away. The airport is 7.9 km away. These trips take about 10 minutes on average.
