On the main level are primary and guest bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, dining area, fireplace and main living area. Hardwood floors throughout the upper level. The fireplace is crafted from local stones with a mantle that has a wood burning stove insert. Spectacular water, forest and distant mountain views from the family, dining and lower level office.
The kitchen features a restored Kelvinator range, quartz countertops, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge with ice maker and water dispenser. The breakfast bar has pendant lighting above. The kitchen is equipped with a 12 cup drip coffee maker, coffee press, coffee grinder, blender, crock pot, various spices and everything you would need to cook a meal.
The primary bedroom has a tongue and groove ceiling, king sized platform bed (elevated and a step stool is provided), massive windows to take in the glorious views. The second smaller bedroom, also on the main level, is furnished with a trundle bed set up, that includes 2 twins, the lower of which pulls out and pops up to form a king sized bed.
Of note, the guest room is small with no extra room when the bed is expanded into a king. The living room has a Smart TV and there is an additional wall mounted TV with ROKU in the smaller guest room, for more streaming options.
The full bath is located between both bedrooms. It has a shower/bathtub, one sink and a large medicine cabinet. Downstairs is an office with two work spaces with two chairs. Also on the lower level is a full sized laundry room with washer/dryer and a half bath.
Outside overlooking the sloping yard is a wrap around trex deck with patio table and chairs to enjoy a meal outside and take in the views. A Weber propane grill completes the outdoor living space. There are 147 steep stair steps down to the beach, so this property warns anyone with children to be aware. Dangerous when wet. The property is tiered and there are stairs from the parking spot to the home. The parking area has two parking spots, neither are deep so people with large SUV's, trucks/larger autos will not fit in the provided parking spots(2 car limit per reservation). Notice-There are no hand railings down the garden steps from the parking area to the front door.
You will have a 20 min drive to Langley, 10 min to Freeland, 20-25 min to the Clinton Ferry and 20 min to Coupeville.
MeerKerk Gardens is a lovely, quiet place to visit and it is within walking distance to the house.
