Sherwood Park is a large, beautifully furnished home in outstanding condition with 6 bedrooms and numerous living areas set on a magnificent 2 acres of landscaped lawns and gardens. Adjoining is a 50 acre reserve with wonderful walking tracks and rural views.
The single level, fully air conditioned, 6 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom design is both luxurious and with lots of cosy character for you to rug up with a glass of wine in front of the slow combustion wood heater.
There are 4 living areas:
* family and dinning for 12 off the large country kitchen, with slow combustion
wood heater (wood supplied)
* a formal lounge with gas heating, television and DVD player
* a sunroom
* a huge north facing covered patio furnished BBQ area with views across the gardens
Almost every window and each of the 2 sundrenched verandahs have views over the home's gardens.
The large country kitchen has a modern granite countertop, smeg appliances.
The kitchen is equipped with full sets of quality crockery and cutlery, microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher, electric frypan, BBQ tools, toaster, kettle, champagne and wine glasses.
A complimentary continental breakfast is supplied for your first morning together with tea & coffee. There is also a cappuccino coffee maker.
There are enough quality beds to comfortably sleep 13 people. Each room is private and has views of the gardens.
* The main bedroom with bay window and ensuite is huge with a queen size bed,
3 seater lounge and TV.
* There is another huge queen size bedroom with it's own toilet and vanity with
access to the rear patio and garden.
* There are 2 extra double bedrooms and also 2 more with single beds.
The roomy laundry contains a washing machine. There is a clothesline in the backyard.
Outside, there is a sun-filled north/east facing very large covered patio including B.B.Q and outdoor furniture overlooking the fishpond and gardens. The gardens themselves are safely fenced and a wonderful place for adults and children to explore there is also a set of swings. You may even spot a couple of rabbits!
Visit the many excellent restaurants and alfresco cafes, just 5 minutes drive or cycle into town via the safe cycleway that traverses around Bowral.
Sherwood Park is ideally situated near 6 of the most scenic drives to Berrima, Bunndanoon, Robertson, Burrawang, Kiama and Kangaroo Valley.
