Summary: Great location but an otherwise run down property with cold corridors and bedrooms. Our bedroom was uncomfortably cold, small radiators were on all day but the huge drafty windows and gaps under the doors were enough to make for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The deafening noise from the wind on the huge old windows was occasionally drowned out by noisy neighbours through paper thin walls. Arriving at night there is poor signage and lighting which reflects the obvious lack of effort/investment over recent years. On snow accommodation isn’t cheap so you’d think a small amount of investment would be worthwhile to modernise and upgrade facilities over time. Staff were helpful, breakfast was ok, but the property itself is 20 years overdue for a renovation to make for a comfortable stay.
