Open the timber bi-folding doors and let the beach and views become part of the house. The Artist House has been cleverly designed to make the most of living in the tropics. We are sure you will not want leave ……….. Imagine lazing on the day bed – watching the children in the pool and taking in the views to Dunk Island. Stress will disappear in no time. The romantic king bedroom opens onto the verandah area with daybed just there, it boasts an expansive bathroom offering views to the beach from the shower or you can soak your stress away lazing in the bath and open the bi-fold windows for views across the pool to the ocean. The 2nd King bedroom with ensuite, opens on to the verandah also. Fall asleep at night enjoying the gentle seabreezes. The 3rd bedroom is a spacious room offering 2 queen beds. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped with beautiful appliance - perfect for entertaining with the indoor outdoor servery opening onto the outdoor dining table on the verandah. “Cooking up a storm” here will be most enjoyable. The rear courtyard has another outdoor dining space perfect for a BBQ when the wind is blowing on the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a few speciality shops. There is a drive in bottle shops at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which also has the Bendigo Bank, ECU a smaller Bottle shop. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. There is a chemist and medical center. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Millers Bar & Grill is a popular choice with locals. Nana Thai offers fab Thai food and there are a couple of Italian cafes to choose from. The Mission Beach Dunk Island Water Taxi departs from the beach on Banfield Parade. The trip to Dunk Island takes approximately 10 mins. There are numerous departures throughout the day. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach.
