The Bay is the perfect choice for a couple or 2 friends looking to get away and relax. Peaceful and private, an adults only escape just an hour and a half from Sydney.
The Bay is one of Bateau Bays original homes and has been recently renovated into a luxurious, modern coastal home while still maintaining it's original charm. Offering the best of both worlds with the beach opposite and a swimming pool nestled in the back.
Positioned opposite the path down to Bateau Bay beach with views of the ocean through the canopy of the Wyrrabalong National Park. Watch the world go by from the porch or front deck while enjoying the scenery.
The Bay has 1 bedroom with large windows taking in the view. Sleep with the windows open and drift off to the sound of the waves and the cool coastal breeze.
Fully equipped kitchen with large servery window looking out to the back deck and swimming pool. The pool is a tropical oasis. Surrounded by palm trees, the poolside sun bed is the perfect place to spend the afternoon.
So many choices to relax. From the over sized sofa to the day bed, the outdoor lounge to the sun bed. The front deck and the porch are perfect spots to watch the sunrise through the trees with your morning coffee or wander across the road and watch from the lookout or down on the sand.
Bateau Bay is a peaceful, non-patrolled beach, a favourite with the locals of the area. With rock pools at either end, it caters to an array of activities from swimming, surfing, snorkelling and fishing through to hang gliding from Crackneck Lookout and landing down on the beach. Surrounded by Wyrrabalong National Park, there are a number of coastal tracks to explore, linking the beaches and the look outs. It's a short stroll to nearby cafes, bakery and corner store or a short drive to Bateau Bay Village.
We are an adults only property and only permit 2 guests at a time. For insurance purposes we require a copy of photo ID for all guests.
You will have the whole house to yourself during your stay. Except possibly a quick visit from the pool man if his service happens to fall during your dates.
We have external cameras on the house for security. They do not film the living areas, just the entrance to the property.
When booking a coastal house next to a national park please be aware this brings with it some wildlife and some pests. From cute wildlife like a koala or a possum to annoying pests like flies or mosquitos. We do find they are generally not too much of a problem due to the ocean breeze but in the event they are an issue we provide insect spray under the sink.
