Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The view over the river, the cleanliness of the property and the well-equipped kitchenette.

Negative: Proximity to the main rail line means freight trains thunder through all night. I’m a heavy sleeper but was still woken up several times. Also, due to some renovations going on in the main house, there was quite a bit of building debris around which was a possible trip hazard.

Summary: Lovely waterside view but not quite the peaceful experience we were expecting.
