Summary: I rented the house to take some of my staff on a quick trip to Lexington. We are friends, but also work together so needed separate sleeping spaces. Oh my goodness…the bedrooms are even better in person. My mom and I am shared the double bedroom and it is upgraded even from the pictures. The bedrooms and baths are stunning. The rest of the house is great for gathering too…we cooked in the kitchen,made drinks, chatted, played games in the living room. Perfect for a large group of family or friends or even not so close friends :) I will agree with some other reviews that the grounds outside don’t quite live up to the inside, but it appeared there were some new additions, with an porch on the front on one side, some new plantings. And it was February in the Midwest, so we didn’t really want to be outside anyway. Maybe more upgrades to come outside for the summer? And like another review said, there are some doors marked private and seems like maybe someone else stays there sometimes, but we didn’t see anyone else during our stay. Communication was good and directions to get in were clear and easy. My group asked on the way home if we could stay again next year, and I really hope to! I’m sad I’m not sleeping in that gorgeous bedroom tonight!
