The Gunbower Butter Factory is located on the banks of the Gunbower Creek with many native animals in the area; pelicans, platypus, ducks and turtles to name a few with the ever elusive Murray Cod enjoying the cool waters. Gunbower & the Gunbower national park area is the biggest inland waterways system in the Southern hemisphere and is affectionately referred to as the Kakadu of the south.
