The Kingfish Lodge is perfectly positioned on a quaint street at the top of Currarong, and only a short stroll to the beautiful Abrahams Bosom Beach and Currarong Rockpool.
Our newly renovated cottage is the perfect location for a relaxed beach getaway for the whole family, including your beloved fur friends.
The modern kitchen has everything you need for a carefree stay. The backyard includes a large, covered deck area perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and dining.
The open plan kitchen and living area includes a lounge area complete with comfortable corner sofa, bean bag and TV with Telstra TV.
The large island bench in the kitchen ensures there is space for everyone, whether you are cooking up a storm or perched on a bar stool with a glass of wine. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need including microwave, electric oven, separate gas cooktop, combined fridge freezer, dishwasher and Breville Nespresso Coffee Machine.

- 3 bedrooms all recently renovated (all rooms are equipped with pedestal fans). Bedroom configuration - Bed 1 Queen, Bed 2 Queen, Bed 3 Single over Double Bunk.
Soak up the amazing location with a walk along the beach. Venture out to Gosangs Tunnel and Mermaid Inlet via the numerous walking tracks, or up to the lookout at Merlimbula Trig Station to take in the view of the amazing coast line. Head down to the creek at high tide and enjoy a splash in the ocean.
Step under the hot and cold outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach or just a quick dip in the ocean.
At the Kingfish Lodge we are excited to provide you with two kayaks so that you can take advantage of the great fishing and diving that Currarong has to offer, and even paddle around the Wreck Point to the beautiful secluded beaches of Lobster Bay and Honeysuckle Beach. There is almost always a couple of squid hanging around the green and red buoys near the Rock Pool.
Take the bike and enjoy an adventure around the village and the many bush trails that Currarong has to offer.
The Details:
**Linen**
Linen is provided for your stay. This includes bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bathmats and hand towels. Quilts with covers will be supplied on all beds. Tea towels and throw rugs are also provided.
Please remember to BYO beach towels if you plan on enjoying the water.
**Pets**
The property is fully fenced, and pets are welcome on application. A dog friendly beach is located close by, stretching from Currarong Creek to Plutus Reef.
If you wish to have your pet stay, a surcharge of $100 will apply. We kindly ask that pets remain outside during your stay if possible. Pets will be permitted inside on tiled areas only and are not allowed on furniture, including on/in beds.
If your pet does not normally respond well to being left alone, we ask that you please monitor them to prevent disruption to neighbours. Please note that additional cleaning fees will apply if steam cleaning of carpets and/or furniture is required and/or if additional cleaning of mess left by your pet is necessary.
For the comfort of your pets please note:
- All pets must be approved prior to their stay
- Pet bedding must be supplied by guest
- Remember to protect your pets from ticks as this is a tick prone area
- Any pet faeces, including in the front or rear yard, must be wrapped and placed in outside bins
- Bring along some toys for the enjoyment of your pet, and please remember a leash if you plan on taking your pet out and about
**Supplies**
We provide some basic pantry supplies (including coffee pods) and cleaning items. To get you started you will be supplied with toilet paper. For longer stays, you may be required to pick up some additional supplies. These can be purchased from the local general store, or from IGA at Callala Bay.
Free, unlimited WiFi is provided for all bookings.
We like to offer a relaxed quiet environment for our guests to be able to enjoy their say in Currarong. We expect the same from our guests.
Out of respect for our neighbours, we do not accept leavers or groups looking to party at the property. If you’re planning a big party, this may not be the house for you.
