Your own private aspect at the rear of the cottage faces onto a setting of eucalyptus and bush land that spreads up the hillside behind. It will comfortably sleep 4 however additional beds can be made available if necessary. With fully self contained services, heating and cooling, we trust that you find all of the facilities suitable for an enjoyable stay.

Large double sliding doors open up on to a sunny verandah with bush views. Here you will find a Weber BBQ. A second deck overlooks Mount Buffalo.

Locality
Conveniently located on the Great Alpine Rd, 9km from Myrtleford and 22km from Bright. Historical Beechworth and the King Valley food & wine region are an easy day trip.
The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is accessible a few hundred metres away for a family friendly cycling experience.
For a fun winter day out the nearest snow field at Mt Buffalo is 45 minutes away.
Property
The cottages are located on an old tobacco farm established in the 1920s. Historically it was built to house the workers & their families who lived on the farm, as was customary for the many Italian tobacco farmers at the time. The tobacco kilns remain at the front of the property as a reminder of an industry that is an integral part of the agricultural history of the region.
We have sheep and alpacas on the property which you are welcome to feed with prior arrangement. Our farmstay experience is non-hosted meaning we don't have a set routine each day. If you would like to have a more interactive experience we are happy to assist with some hand feeding and petting when possible.
There is also plenty of native wildlife too with birds, kangaroos wombats and sometimes even echidnas. They are naturally a lot more shy making it a much rarer experience. The private bush at the rear of the property has various walking tracks of a medium to hard level.
