Surrounded by vineyards, it is just a five minute drive to the historic township of Willunga, ten minutes to the renowned wine area of McLaren Vale, or a ten minute drive to some of the best beaches in Australia, making The WineMaker’s Cottage the perfect location for your stay.
Comprising a living and dining area, kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms, the main with a king bed and the second with a queen, The WineMaker’s Cottage has rustic charm with a modern twist. There is also a verandah area with a BBQ and seating. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of wine from the region, a fresh loaf of bread, chocolates, milk and of course tea, coffee and butter on arrival.
You will be spoilt for choice with all the wineries, restaurants, pubs and beaches on your doorstep. There is also the Willunga Farmer’s Market held every Saturday morning, which is a must. In January the Tour Down Under runs right past the end of our road, and just a short drive away in McLaren Vale and surrounding areas there are many other events throughout year, including A Day on the Green and the Sea & Vines Festival. However, if you are just looking for somewhere to get away and relax, you’ll have everything at hand to just kick back and take it easy.
