Comfortable self-contained unit with a separate Queen bedroom. Located just 4 km south of Stratford, Taranaki. The Taranaki accommodation consists of 6 well-appointed one-bedroom units and 4 studio units set out on 5 acres of park-like grounds. Access is handy to many attractions and activities. Mt Taranaki is popular for climbing and includes a ski field with access road near us. Egmont National Park is also renowned for its many tramping (hiking) tracks.
Some great public gardens are within reach such as Hollards Gardens Kaponga, a garden started in 1927. Pukeiti, New Zealand’s premier Rhododendron garden set in lush rainforest in Egmont National Park, and Pukekura Park, having a unique botanical landscape within a native lowland forest and lakes. There are also several renowned private gardens around Stratford and Taranaki.
Taranaki Pioneer Village is a unique museum with historic buildings and features where you can experience life as it was 100 years ago.
A few lakes and rivers are not far away for swimming, boating, bush walking, and Trout fishing.
