Villa Rodi is a beautiful house in Katastari, only 1.5km from Alykes resort, ideal for quiet holidays close to many points of interest.
It can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms , it is split into two floors and it has nice views of the sea and mountain.
The veranda on the principal floor offers outstanding views and you can enjoy your meals and barbecues there breathing in some fresh air.
The whole building is divided into two separate properties, with independent entrances. The bottom floor property is a semi-basement apartment that is used by the two owners. All the spaces of this apartment are modified in such a way that the guests of the upper maisonette (which is available on this listing) enjoy total privacy.
The upper two-floor maisonette has its own independent entrance and staircase, a private terrace and its own access to the garden. It can accommodate up to 11 people in total in an area of ​​160 sq.m., as follows:
1st bedroom (on the first floor): one double bed (for 2 guests)
2nd bedroom (on the second floor): one king-size bed (for 2 guests)
3rd bedroom (on the second floor): one double bed and one single bed (for 3 guests)
Moreover, there is also a double sofa bed in the living room (for 2 guests) and two folding guest beds (for 2 more guests) which could be placed either in the living room (or one of them could also be placed on the bedroom with the king-size bed).
The living room is located on the first floor as well as the kitchen, the dining room, the 1st bedroom (with a double bed) and one of the 3 bathrooms (with shower).
The dining room is spacious and has a big round table. Its entire eastern side is covered by a huge window overlooking the hills, the lush olive groves and the sea, which is located 1,800 m from the house. This window is one of the main features of the house.
The kitchen is very large and fully equipped for all your holiday needs.
The living room accommodates comfortable sofas for many people and beautiful views from the bay window overlooking the garden.
The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms.
One bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom (with a bathtub and a walk-in shower). The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, while right next door there is another bathroom with a shower.
All three bedrooms on both floors have their own spacious balconies.
The house is surrounded on three sides by a garden, and on the fourth side is the entrance. In the garden you can find herbs such as oregano, mint, basil, mint, and thyme as well as eggs from the henhouse. In the garden there are four tables where you can enjoy your tea and coffee.
You can also enjoy your meals on the furnished terrace on the first floor with beautiful sea and mountain views. This terrace is 22 sq.m. and has a dining table with plenty of chairs to allow you to enjoy your meals outside.
You may not meet all the dogs and cats of the family, but you will definitely get excited about meeting the dog Pepe!

Although the plot is located in the centre of the village, it is not situated on the main road, but connected with it through a small road. The house is surrounded on all four sides by olive groves.

Also in the village there is a post office, a car repair shop, a tire repairer, a car wash, a hairdresser, a pastry shop, a bookstore, and a hardware store. The gas/ petrol station is located just below the house, at 150 meters distance.
Public transport is generally not good in Zakynthos, so it is absolutely recommended to rent a car/scooter/quad bike. This will enable you to fully explore the best spots of the island.
A vehicle rental can be arranged for you and have it delivered either at the airport or the villa for your convenience.
