‘The Hideaway’ is a homely, pet friendly, four-bedroom house with a pool that is nestled on the gorgeous Ewan Maddock Dam.
The house is conveniently situated only metres away from the main walking tracks of the Ewan Maddock Park and the dam. Stroll or bike ride along the beautifully maintained walking tracks that meander through the lush, green forest. The dam is beautifully serene and great for kayaking, fishing and swimming.
Ewen Maddock Dam is home to more than 9km of multi-use trails that are shared between walkers, bike riders and horse riders.
The house can comfortably accommodate ten people with plenty of yard space for pets. The house is very 'kid friendly' with a bath tub for the little ones. There are two seperate lounge areas and a pool room with a bar fridge.
Less than 1km down the road is the Mooloolah Country Club for dining out and free barefoot bowls. Surrounding the Country Club is the Hinterland BMX track, skate park, basket ball and tennis courts, RC car track, soccer and softball fields. All accessible from the house via a concrete pathway.
Only 4.7km away, The Mooloolah Valley area makes for a lovely drive through the country side, situated in the valley below the Blackall Range on the coastal side. The local IGA has you covered if needing supplies. The town is fully equiped with all the basic services butcher, bakery, post office, doctor, cafe etc…
Mooloolah is a small town situated north of Landsborough on the main railway line from Brisbane with regular services southbound Brisbane and northbound to Gympie from Mooloolah railway station.
A little further down the road from Mooloolah township is the gorgeous fresh water swimming hole called Hell Hole (aptly named because its ‘one hell of a hole’). It’s a lovely spot to have a bbq or picnic and a dip in the crisp fresh water.
