The Space:
Our modern two-bedroom home has two cosy queen beds for up to four guests to enjoy. Beds are fitted with hotel-quality linens, while you’ll also find built-in wardrobes, bedside tables and privacy blinds in each room.
The bathroom is spacious and features a large walk-in shower. Plenty of counter and storage space makes sharing the bathroom easy. There is also a large bathtub for relaxing self-care nights.
The well-sized kitchen and dining area is filled with natural light thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and amenities, including a gas stove top, dishwasher, refrigerator, and cookware. You'll find everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals for yourself and your guests.
The living room has ample seating for guests. Enjoy TV entertainment and a refreshing breeze from the patio through the open door.
Guests will enjoy other conveniences, such as wireless internet connection and year-round heating and cooling.

You have private access with using a door code. Base price is for two people (1 room). Access will only be provided to rooms that are booked and paid for. If cleaners find that unpaid beds were used, an extra cleaning fee will be incurred. Please choose the number of guests when checking availability/pricing.

Located just north of the city centre, guests at Wattle Gem have prime access to Bendigo’s CBD while also enjoying the quiet respite of its location.
There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance, including Bendigo Corner Store Cafe where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee.
In less than five minutes of driving, you will reach Rosalind Park, a central green space located in Bendigo. Take a walk through the park, and don't forget to stop by the Fernery and Conservatory. While in the area, you can find plenty of options for dining and shopping along View Street and Pall Mall. If you're looking for a place to eat, head down Chancery Lane to El Gordo for a bite or make a reservation at the Dispensary, which is sure to impress.
Discover Bendigo's dynamic art scene. Visit the Bendigo Art Gallery, which is one of the largest galleries in the region, showcasing an impressive collection of contemporary and historical art. Additionally, you can book tickets for a show at the Ullumbarra Theatre, which features a diverse range of genres to cater to all tastes.
When it's time for dinner, there are countless options and diverse menus all over town. For a fancy dining experience, you can make a reservation at either Masons of Bendigo or The Old Boundary Hotel. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, you can head to Ghosty's Diner or Oishii on Wheels. Finally, to end your night with some drinks, you can visit the Deck Bendigo, where you can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and panoramic views.

For reservations on booking platforms outside of Airbnb, we require either a $500 AUD authorisation hold or a fixed damage waiver per guest with every reservation prior to check-in. Please note, that the pre-auth hold is not a charge; it simply ensures funds are available if needed. A small bank processing fee (typically around AUD 2) may apply, but will also be returned after check-out permitting no breaches in policy occur. Banks require us to renew the authorisation hold weekly. A damage waiver will not be refunded.
