Forget your worries in this spacious and peaceful space. Located in a rustic corner, 15 mins to Mandurah’s beautiful foreshore and Pinjarra, a pioneer town, steeped in history.
If you are lucky, you will wake to see our local kangaroos grazing outside your window.
The property is fully self-contained with a cozy living area, kitchen and dining, bathroom with seperate shower and toilet. There are three large bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two singles, which are suitable for children.
Outside is a covered patio, dining table, and bbq. Fire pit available for winter.
The space
The Knobbly Nook is located in a large outbuilding on our rural 5-acre property. It is located away from the main house where I live with my family and two dogs.
The Nook has a large living area with wood burning stove, a small kitchen, a newly fitted bathroom, and a shower.
Aircon and ceiling fans are fitted in most rooms and there is a large tv and cozy sofa!
Outside there is a large patio with seating and a Bbq area.
Our block has large grassed areas and native bushland. We are visited daily by the local Roos and their babies.
There are walking tracks down to the nearby lakes.
We have three large bedrooms available - two with Queen beds and the third has two singles suitable for children up to 12 years.
When booking for multiple guests, the third bedroom is accessed through the second bedroom and is designed for our younger guests! It has two single beds. There is also an additional single foam mattress available, which would suit an additional young child and there is plenty of space for a travel cot ( to be supplied by the guest).
Friendly calm Dogs are allowed on a case-by-case basis! Please contact me to discuss this.
Guest access
Access to the property is via automatic gates- when you arrive you will find a combination locked key box on the rear of the post box next to the gate. Inside the key box is the gate remote and keys to the knobbly nook. The key code for the box is the last three numbers of the phone number provided on your booking.
To open the gates press the BLUE button on the remote. The gate will open and close automatically after 20 seconds. There are sensors to stop it closing whilst you are driving through.
Please look after the gate remote and lock it back in the key box when you leave .
There is a chargeable fee for lost or damaged remotes/ keys of $100.
Once you have driven through the gate the Knobbly Nook is located 50 meters on the left.
Please park anywhere in the gravel area. 😊

Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. We have two dogs who are friendly but protective- polite introductions to furry guests would be required!
We are located on a country block set back out of view of the road and away from hustle and bustle! We have friendly neighbors who will give you a nod and a wave if out and about.
The nearest pub is the Ravenswood Hotel or the Ravo as we know it. Great place for having a meal and a few beers overlooking the beautiful Murray river. Unfortunately its not within wobbling distance so you will need a lift!
