This self-contained and stand-alone bungalow sits behind our backyard with seperate driveway & entrance. The studio includes a comfortable king bed, fireplace, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor deck & BBQ.
The kitchenette has an induction stove to do some basic cooking and heating. As well as a toaster and kettle, with an assortment of teas and coffee. Bear in mind it’s a basic kitchenette so it won’t be possible to cook the same way you would at home, so please come prepared. Nearest supermarket is in Yarram, 20 mins away.
Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood but we can supply a 25kg basket for $25. There is an oil heater as well which heats up the entire place nicely.
Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) supplied along with fresh towels. An assortment of books and board games for your entertainment. Accessibility to Tarra River right out front of our property to take a dip on a hot day or relax and have a picnic
As we are close to the national park, the area is quiet making it a peaceful getaway from the city & into nature. Walking trails and Waterfalls are a short drive away through the picturesque Tarra Valley - a place where’s there’s more wildlife than people!. Woodside beach and Port Albert are local beach towns, 30 mins away and guests have enjoyed a day trip to Wilson’s Prom which is just over an hour.
We are located on a 20- acre property with cows, sheep, goats, chickens and our farm dogs Lilly and Fi (both maremmas) who help keep our flock of chooks safe from foxes. All our animals are super friendly…the goats are a little too friendly, and like to ambush guests thinking you’ve brought them treats! We sometimes foster calves on behalf of rescue organisations and we welcome guests to bottle feed with us. Follow us @wild_falls to meet the entire furr family. We’d be happy give you some feed to spoil them with, or to introduce you to them all and tell you abit about them. If animals are not your thing, feel free to ignore them and take in the wilderness!
We are in the midst of the national park so there’s no reception in our area, but we have satellite wifi which can be accessed in the bungalow. Bad weather can weaken the signal but overall, it works great!
